Day 4 Cricket
Exciting day tomorrow .
We leave at 9am to head off to Trent Bridge for a tour. While there we will watch a county game (Sussex v Nottingham)
We then will go for a net and plays two games.
We leave after the games for York.
Day 3 Cricket
We started the day heading of to church. We went to a really nice Catholic Church. I will try and put up a photo later as I 'm having problems with the wifi at the moment.
We then went off to play our third day of cricket.
Marist gold verses Orpington had a very close game. We made 145 and just fell short having the 9 wickets down when they passed us. The last partnership was 17 runs, however the boys played really well and are getting stronger.
Marist blue played a very strong Bexley CC and unfortunately went down. We made 148 and Bexley passed this score 2 wickets down. Having said this, this sides skills and knowledge of the game is getting better.
We once again thanks The two clubs for their hospitality. Both clubs put on tea and dinner for us and we appreciated their company .
Tomorrow a new experience for the boys again. We don't start playing until 5pm and we are not playing under lights because it is still to bright at this time of night. It won't get dark until 10pm.
